Carlisle United’s manager Keith Curle has encouraged his players by telling them that they are all important members of the squad and that they will have an important part to play throughout the season.

He said that even if they are on the bench for any given game, they are still part of the team and that sooner or later they will get their chance in the team.

He made this statement after naming an unchanged side for three games in a row and there were signs that some players on the bench were becoming a bit restless. Indeed there are players that would want to be on the pitch rather than to spend time on the bench and might consider moving to another club before the transfer window closes.

However, Keith Curle has stated that at the moment he is more concerned about winning football matches rather than keeping everybody in the team happy. He said that at this stage of the season legs are still fresh and that he does not need to rotate his team. But he admitted that as the season goes he will need all the other players in the team to avoid injuries.

He has urged the fringe players to continue to work hard in order to improve. For Curle, if you are good enough you will be given a chance in the team and he has urged the players to show him that they need a place in the team.

At the moment there is no news for new signing and the manager stated that he is pleased with the squad at his disposal. He believes that Carlisle United can have a great season, but he will need all the players to be motivated and to give everything in training.
