Bolton Wanderers would be hoping to bounce back from the disappointing defeat to Grimsby Town at the weekend when they take on Carlisle United at the University of Bolton Stadium on Tuesday night. On their part, Carlisle United are on a fantastic run of six games without a single defeat. The run has seen them move within two points of the playoff spots ahead of the final games in the league.

Carlisle United manager Chris Beech has told his players that they need to improve their attacking output in front of goal if they want to achieve their target of three points against Bolton Wanderers and a place in the playoffs at the end of the season. Carlisle United have failed to score in each of their last two matches in the league.

They played out a goalless draw at the home of Newport County before repeating the same scoreline at home to Port Vale over the weekend. Striker OffrandeZanzala limped off during the Port Vale game at the weekend and he’s a big doubt for the trip to Bolton Wanderers though feelers from the Carlisle United camp is that he would be fit to take his place in the Cumbrians line-up for the Bolton Wanderers game.

The run of two susccesive goalless draws was preceded by a fantastic run of three wins and a draw. They defeated Crawley Town (home), Southend United (away) and Scunthorpe United (home) by the same scoreline of 2-0 before drawing 2-2 at Barrow.
